By the age of 18, he had already made history as the youngest director ever for the Directors Guild of America, directing episodes of The Hogan Family. His role in Teen Wolf Too in 1987 brought him international fame, despite the film's box office struggles.
Jason's journey as a child star was not without its challenges, as he struggled with drug and alcohol addiction. However, becoming a father to Maple marked a turning point in his life. He credits his wife, Amanda, for making marriage and fatherhood simple and enjoyable.
And this is the part most people miss... Jason is an incredibly proud dad. In an interview with Elle in 2009, he gushed about Francesca, saying, "Anyone who has a kid understands the pride and joy of showing off their little ones. With Francesca, it was that feeling times ten!"
